Job summary

Greystar seeks a Floating Assistant Community Manager to support multiple residential communities, assisting on-site managers and ensuring resident satisfaction. The role requires learning community specifics, coordinating leases, events, and vendor relations, with a pathway to develop property management skills.

The position includes Saturdays work, with Sundays/Mondays off, and involves travel among properties as needed. Strong customer service and organizational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, Hospitality or related field.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different property environments and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of multiple properties, overseeing maintenance, vendors, and service contracts.
• Serve as point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and organizing community events.
• Assist in leasing: tours, applications, lease documentation and marketing collaboration.
• Support financial processes: rent collection, budgeting, expense tracking, reporting.
• Handle admin duties: calls, emails, records, reports preparation.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance or safety issues.
• Stay informed on local/state/federal property management regs and ensure compliance.
• Participate in training and professional development for on-site teams.
