Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Floating Assistant Community Manager to support operations across multiple residential communities. You will assist on-site Community Managers, ensure a positive resident experience, and learn community specifics to drive effective property operations.

The role covers leasing support, vendor relationships, event coordination, and administration while promoting compliance and accurate financial and reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, Hospitality or related field.
• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates property management, sales, marketing and customer service background.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee property maintenance, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
• Leasing and Marketing Support: Assist in the leasing process, including tours, applications, and lease documentation; collaborate with marketing to promote units and amenities.
• Financial Management: Support rent collection, budget tracking, and expense management; assist accounting with reporting.
• Administrative Tasks: Answer phones, respond to emails, and maintain organized records; prepare reports and docs.
• Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance or safety concerns.
• Compliance: Stay informed on local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management; support policy implementation.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs and develop on-site teams.
