Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled welder with pipe experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will weld using TIG, Stick and Flux, certify on multi-process pipe, and read blueprints to assemble complex piping and structural components.

Candidates should be able to lay out, position, and weld pipe systems, tanks, vessels and structures in various positions, comply with safety rules, and pass employer tests or certifications as required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have pipe welding experience TIG, Stick and Flux.
• Capable of certifying on multi-process pipe welding.
• Able to pass employer tests and certifications, may require x-ray qualities.
• Reads blueprints and metallurgy to lay out and weld components.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe and materials per specifications.
• Plans layouts, assembly and welding, applying geometry and welding techniques.
• May use GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW welding processes as required.
• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components for piping systems and structures.
• Welds components in various positions and verifies welds by inspection.
