Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled welder capable of certifying on multi-process tubes, reading blueprints and laying out assemblies to exacting standards.

You will weld fabricated components to assemble machinery frames, tanks and pressure vessels, following procedures and metallic specifications. The role requires attention to quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and weld procedures.
• Ability to interpret geometry and metallurgy specs.
• Experience operating multiple welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW).

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe/type and sizes per specifications.
• Plans layouts and welding sequences per procedures.
• Welds components in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Ensures bead size and weld quality meet specs.
• Performs routine maintenance of tools and cleanup of work area.
