Job summary

Brown and Root Industrial Services seeks skilled welders to fabricate and assemble piping systems, tanks and structural components. You will lay out, align and weld using SMAW, GTAW and GMAW processes, per blueprints and metallurgical specs.

The role may require radiographic quality and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include selecting materials, planning weld layouts, assembling parts and inspecting bead quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AWS welding certification preferred.
• Experience with multiple welding processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe or related materials per specs.
• Plans layouts, assembly and welding using knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Welds components in various positions and verifies bead quality per procedure.
