Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a Recruitment Specialist in the Tillson, NY area. This full-time role oversees regional hiring workflows, screens applications in the ATS, schedules interviews with location management, and maintains candidate engagement throughout onboarding.

Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for hiring events. The position requires 2+ years of recruiting or onboarding experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the regional hiring processes and workflows.
• Review candidate applications in ATS.
• Screen applicants in ATS and track hiring progress.
• Schedule interviews with location management.
• Notify staff of changes to interviewing schedules.
• Reach out to qualified candidates to schedule interviews.
• Assist in interviewing applicants by phone, video, or in person.
• Follow up with candidates regarding status via phone and email.
• Maintain positive candidate engagement throughout onboarding.
• Communicate initial hiring requirements prior to start date (including pre-employment screenings).
• Ensure candidates are updated in ATS to match onboarding system.
