Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks an MRI technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging using MRI equipment. You will position patients, select coils, and ensure patient safety while obtaining high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires a radiography degree, an RT license or MR certification, and BLS. You will join a respected health system with multiple facilities and a mission to deliver premier care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in radiography or related field required.
• State RT license and MR certification or equivalent credentials required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and coils per radiologist protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor patient safety during scans.
• Enter patient data and scan parameters into the system accurately.
• Adjust scan sequences and transmitter/receiver settings as needed.
• Observe patients and ensure comfort; verify image quality.
