Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography Program or related field.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient on examining table and places the appropriate coil near the area of interest following radiologist protocols.
• Demonstrates use of microphone to communicate with patient and technologist during examination.
• Enters data such as patient history and scan area into the computer.
• Keys commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers in the system.
• Monitors patient safety and comfort from the control room and on video display.
• Reviews images to ensure quality of pictures.
