Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in magnetic resonance imaging to support diagnostic imaging across our New Jersey facilities. You will position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure high-quality cross-sectional images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or related field.
• MR Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient on examining table and places coil near area of interest as directed by Radiologist.
• Demonstrates use of microphone for patient-technologist communication during examination.
• Enters data such as patient history and scan parameters into the computer.
• Keys commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers.
• Monitors patient safety and comfort via control room window and CCTV.
• Views images on display to ensure quality; photographs images by entering data.
• Alerts staff to safety risks around the magnet.
• Adheres to protocols and radiation safety standards.
