Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations under radiologist guidance, providing patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Education as ARRT or ARDMS radiography, BCLS required; no experience required, 6 months preferred; collaborates closely with radiology leadership to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• AR DMS or ARRT radiography registration required upon hire; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to image anatomical and physiological conditions under supervision of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to prescribed standards during diagnostic examinations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
