Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR imaging under a Radiologist’s supervision.

You will provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, while ensuring safety and accuracy in imaging procedures. The role requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program (or JRCERT accredited training) and ARDMS/ARRT certification upon hire, with BCLS implied.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under direct supervision of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
