Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions, ensuring high-quality studies and patient safety across neonatal to geriatric patients.

Requirements include an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accreditation, ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire, and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Education required: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Work experience: No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses and certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration upon hire; Basic Life Support upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to image anatomical and/or physiological conditions as directed by the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups (neonatal to geriatric) during MRI examinations.
• Adhere to prescribed standards and ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
