Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital seeks an MRI Technologist for PRN, variable shifts. You perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and provide care to patients from neonates to geriatrics.

Education must be AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT accredited training. ARDMS/ARRT radiography registration and BCLS certification are required at hire, with no experience needed though 6 months as MRI tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training.
• Work Experience: No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration; BCLS required

Responsibilities

• Image magnetic resonance exam with guidance of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care for all ages (neonatal to geriatrics).
• Perform diagnostic MR procedures following prescribed standards

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
