Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and provide compassionate patient care across all age groups. You will work under the supervision of a Radiologist to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires completing an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, and ARDMS/ARRT certification with BCLS. Entry to mid-level experience is welcomed in a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiography certification required upon hire; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Image diagnostic MRI scans following prescribed standards under Radiologist guidance.
• Provide patient care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure accurate, timely results.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
