Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI studies and deliver patient-centered care across age groups. You will operate MRI equipment, follow safety protocols, and support radiologists in quality imaging.

The ideal candidate has ARRT or ARDMS registration, BCLS, and completed an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training. No prior experience required, but 6 months in MRI preferred.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist role requires completion of AMA/JRCERT program.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
