Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. Technologists image anatomical/physiologic conditions using MRI, supporting physicians in diagnosis and providing compassionate patient care across all ages.

The ideal candidate will hold AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT accredited training, be ARDMS/ARRT registered, and possess BCLS. No experience is required, though 6 months MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration required upon hire; BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to image anatomical and/or physiologic conditions to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Follow prescribed standards under supervision of Radiologist during diagnostic exams.

Responsibilities

MRI, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
