Job summary

Camden Property Trust in Denver seeks a Leasing Consultant to be the first impression for potential and current residents. You will guide tours, close leases, and work to meet occupancy and retention goals while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

You will showcase community features, respond to resident needs, and coordinate events. A strong customer service background, communication skills, and familiarity with leasing processes are essential, with bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and preparing lease documents
• Showcase community features to meet customer needs
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to renewals with current residents
• Develop creative marketing and social media strategies to drive traffic
• Support occupancy and retention goals with timely follow-up
• Handle unexpected situations with problem-solving and sound judgment
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the community and competitors to inform prospects
• Promote positive resident relations with courteous responses
• Prepare lease documents, resident files, and related bookkeeping tasks
• Collaborate with team on resident events and other projects as needed
