Job summary

Camden Property Trust seeks a Leasing Consultant to be the first impression for residents. You will guide tours, close leases, prepare documents and ensure a great move-in experience.

Responsibilities include showcasing community features, supporting renewal goals, creating marketing strategies to drive traffic, and maintaining knowledge of the community and competitors. Strong communication and customer service are essential; weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service with a target mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for all roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of property management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including closing the lease and inspecting units.
• Showcase community features to match customer needs and preferences.
• Support renewal goals with proactive follow-up and resident care.
• Assist in marketing and social media strategies to increase traffic.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the community and competitors for informed tours.
• Collaborate with team to plan resident events and handle daily tasks.
• Work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
