Job summary

Camden Leasing Consultants serve as the first impression for potential and current residents, guiding tours, closing leases, and ensuring a great move‑in experience. They tailor the value of community features to customer needs and drive occupancy while maintaining strong resident relations.

The role requires customer service expertise, sales ability and a proactive approach to renewals, marketing, and team collaboration. Weekend availability and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale and completing lease documents.
• Showcase community features and tailor messaging to customer needs.
• Ensure a smooth renewal process and high resident satisfaction.
• Develop marketing and social media strategies to drive traffic.
• Support occupancy and retention goals with proactive follow-up.
• Handle problems with good judgment and adaptability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the community and competitors.
• Promote positive resident relations through timely responses.
• Prepare lease documents, resident files and related bookkeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to plan resident events and assist with other projects.
