Job summary

Community State Bank seeks a Mortgage Operations Specialist II in Auburn, Indiana. This on-site role supports the end-to-end mortgage workflow from disclosures to closing and funding, coordinating borrowers, title companies, and investors while maintaining accurate loan files.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in mortgage lending or loan operations, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of mortgage lending, loan processing, and/or related loan operations experience.
• Preference for prior mortgage closing experience and strong Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial disclosures for applicable loan types within regulatory timeframes.
• Compile and organize borrower and loan documentation for underwriting submission.
• Order and review third-party documents including title, appraisal, and insurance.
• Register secondary market loans in investor systems and support approvals.
• Work with lenders and borrowers to clear conditions for timely approval.
• Perform basic financial analysis to support underwriting decisions.
