Job summary

Extend Your Team is hiring for a lien filing specialist to support US mortgage document workflows. The role involves reviewing security documents, filing with county/state authorities, and maintaining meticulous records.

You will coordinate with county recorders and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of US loan/mortgage experience, strong English, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or related industries (mortgage experience preferred).
• At least 2 years (and above) experience in handling US loan or mortgage tasks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency, clarity, and good diction in English; strong written communication.
• Great organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing security documents for completeness and recording requirements.
• Filing security documents with the relevant County/State Jurisdictions.
• Maintain detailed records of all filings and correspondence.
• Verifying documentation, including those provided by clients, ensuring it is complete and accurate to finalize the line filing process.
• Communicate with external parties, such as county recorders, vendors to ensure proper filing.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to lien filing.
• contingency clearing including but not limited to Title Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Trust Verification, Lien Position Verification, Employment Contingency
• Final Title Policy Review and HOI Renewal
• Assisting other departments with document requests and record-keeping
• Stay up-to-date with changes in processes and best practices related to lien and HELOC documentations.
