Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support originators in building complete loan files and coordinating from lead to contract and contract to close. You will set appointments, manage data, prepare disclosures, and assist with underwriting and processing while delivering responsive, professional service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of mortgage lending experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with standard office software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of mortgage lending experience.
• NMLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist originator with appointment setting and lead follow-up.
• Prepare and manage loan documentation and 1003 forms.
• Support contract-to-close processes and ensure timely disclosures.
• Maintain databases and track loan status for multiple files.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
