Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company seeks a Loan Officer Assistant to support originators in building complete loan files for submission and managing contract-to-close duties. You will monitor deadlines, coordinate disclosures, and maintain loan data while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PDF tools. A high school diploma and MLO licensing are required, with experience in mortgage lending preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred with at least two years of mortgage lending or related experience.
• Active MLO licensing required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist originators in building complete loan files for submission.
• Monitor key dates related to loan transactions and respond accordingly.
• Send loan forms, disclosures, and other documents to customers for completion and signature; collect completed documents.
• Manage assigned originator's database; track active loans and enter data as needed.
• Provide status updates to referral sources on active loans and respond to inquiries.
