Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support originators by building complete loan files, coordinating appointments, and handling pre-qualification activities. Under supervision, you will contribute to both Lead to Contract and Contract to Close duties.

The role requires meticulous data entry, credit review support, and effective communication with customers and referral sources. You will manage workflows, update databases, and assist with marketing and compliance tasks,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Mortgage lending experience preferred.
Active MLO licensing required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist originator in building complete loan files for submission.
Set and confirm appointments; manage calendar and lead follow-up.
Process disclosures, 1003s, and collect documentation for pre-approval.
Run credit, AUS findings, and prep initial worksheets.
Support processing and underwriting with document submission and status updates.
