Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to help originators build complete loan files and manage the lead-to-contract process. You will act as the primary contact for clients, set appointments, and support the team with credit analysis, AUS findings, and documentation preparation.

The role requires at least two years in mortgage lending, active MLO licensing, and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active MLO licensing required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service.
• Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers in licensed activity for the loan officer.
• Assist originator with setting appointments with applicants and follow up.
• Provide timely lead callbacks and maintain a high conversion rate from lead to appointment.
• Set and confirm appointments, manage originator calendar and client communications.
• Prepare and review loan applications, run credit, AUS findings, and Initial Fee Worksheet.
