Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company seeks a Loan Officer Assistant to support originators in building complete loan files for submission and managing the loan process through contract to close. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Under direct supervision, you will assist with appointments, credit checks, AUS findings, and documentation while ensuring compliance and timely updates for clients and referral

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years mortgage lending experience preferred.
• Active MLO licensing required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist originator to build complete loan files for submission.
• Lead to Contract: set appointments, manage calendars, run credit and AUS findings.
• Contract to Close: monitor dates, gather docs, submit applications.
• Provide customer updates and respond to inquiries with quality service.
• Support marketing and compliance efforts and maintain client databases.
