Sodexo is hiring a Baker for the Marquette University Bakery. You will prepare baked goods from scratch following recipes and production specs to ensure high-quality taste and appearance for guests.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 0–1 year of related bakery experience. The role involves long periods of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexibility with shift timing.

Formación

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to prepare a variety of baked items from scratch.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs and batters, bake items to specification.
• Regulate oven temperatures, monitor baking times, ensure proper temperatures for all products.
• Set up and stock the bake shop area, maintain storage, labeling, dating, and cleanliness.
