Sodexo is hiring a Baker at the University of Alabama at Birmingham to prepare baked goods per recipes and production specs. You will follow culinary standards to ensure high-quality pastry products that meet taste and appearance expectations for guests.

Responsibilities include weighing ingredients, mixing dough, shaping, baking, and maintaining bakery organization. The role requires physical mobility, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to prepare a variety of baked items from scratch.
• Accurately weigh ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures and ensure products are stored and served at correct temperatures.

Conocimientos

High School diploma

0-1 year experience

Bakery/pastry experience preferred
