Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Baker for flexible, full-time or part-time roles at our campus bakery. You will prepare baked goods from scratch, follow recipes and Sodexo standards to ensure high quality in taste and appearance, and support a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work varying shifts with weekend rotation. Training and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and prepare a variety of baked items from scratch.
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures and monitor baking times for proper temperatures.
• Set up bake shop area and maintain proper storage, labeling, and dating of products.
• Attend shifts on time and perform other duties as needed.
• Stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
