Job summary

Join Sodexo as a Baker at Minnesota State University Moorhead. You’ll prepare baked goods to Sodexo standards, following recipes and production specifications, with shifts available and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and follow recipes to bake breads, rolls, muffins, cakes, and pastries.
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temps, monitor baking times, ensure proper holding temperatures.
• Set up, stock, rotate, label, date, and keep the bake area clean.
• Ensure high-quality baked goods and accommodate special requests.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Use hands to handle, reach, and sense taste/smell.
• Walk/stand for extended periods during shift (may exceed 8 hours).
• Lift up to 35 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Attend work on time and reliability.
• Other duties as assigned per account needs.
