Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Baker at Minnesota State University Moorhead to prepare a variety of baked goods per recipes and standards. You’ll weigh ingredients, mix doughs, bake items, and ensure quality and safety throughout production.

Role requires high school diploma or equivalent and up to 1 year of related experience; bakery experience preferred. Full-time position with flexible shifts and a comprehensive benefits package is offered at the Moorhead campus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to bake a variety of items from scratch.
• Accurately weigh ingredients, mix doughs, shape and bake items to perfection.
• Regulate oven temperatures and bake times to ensure proper quality and safety.
• Set up bake shop, rotate and label products, and keep the area clean and organized.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and perform other duties as needed.
