Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking spacecraft development engineers to join a diverse team delivering state-of-the-art simulation tools for lunar missions. You will develop aerospace multidisciplinary models and run simulations using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA’s TRICK framework to verify flight software and system performance.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering or CS, 2+ years in C/C++, MATLAB and Simulink, and experience with CI pipelines and configuration management.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of software development and debugging in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI pipelines and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in developing tools to design, build, deploy and support our simulation infrastructure.
• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulations using MATLAB, Simulink and TRICK.
• Collaborate with GN&C and other subsystems to support plant models and verification.
• Support development and execution of simulations and tools for verification of functionalities.
• Interact with engineers to validate models across disciplines.
