Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking spacecraft software engineers to develop and validate multidisciplinary models for lunar and spaceflight simulations. You will build, verify, and maintain simulation tools using MATLAB, Simulink, and TRICK while collaborating with GN&C and other subsystems to ensure high‑fidelity plant models.

The role emphasizes hands‑on work across development, review, deployment, and support phases, with a strong culture of safety and precise execution. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with strong math/physics fundamentals.
• 5+ years in software development and debugging, especially C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Experience auto-coding from Simulink to C++ and CI pipelines.
• Familiar with git configuration and verification methodologies.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or eligible status required.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to design, build, deploy, and support our simulation infrastructure.
• Create multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and TRICK.
• Collaborate with GN&C and other subsystems for plant models and validation.
• Support simulations and tools for verification of functionalities.
• Interact with engineering teams to ensure model validation and integration.
