Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking spacecraft development engineers to join the Lunar Permanence team to build Blue Moon landers and related products. You will develop aerospace multidisciplinary models and simulations to ensure the correctness and performance of flight software using MATLAB, Simulink, and TRICK, across desktop and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

You will collaborate with GN&C and other subsystem engineers to support model validation, verifications, and high-fidelity plant models,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of software development and debugging in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Strong fundamentals in physics-based modeling and dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in developing tools to design, build, deploy, and support our simulation infrastructure.
• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA TRICK.
• Collaborate with GN&C and other subsystems to support development of plant models.
• Support simulations and tools for verification of functionalities.
• Interact with engineers across disciplines to validate models.
