Job summary

Blue Origin seeks experienced spacecraft development engineers to build and validate aerospace simulations and models. You will design tools and run simulations across MATLAB, Simulink, and TRICK, collaborating with GN&C and systems engineers to ensure correctness of plant models and verification of functionalities.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, rigorous testing, and adherence to safety-first principles, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic spaceflight program.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering/CS with strong coding and modeling background.
• 5+ years software development and debugging in C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Experience auto coding Simulink to C++.
• Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics and physics-based models.
• Hands-on with CI pipelines (Gitlab) and Git configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to design, build, deploy, and support simulation infrastructure.
• Create multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation (MATLAB/Simulink/NASA TRICK).
• Collaborate with GN&C and subsystems to develop plant models.
• Support simulations and verification tools for functionality validation.
• Coordinate with engineers to validate models across disciplines.
