Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a Lunar GNC Modeling & Simulation Engineer III to help develop aerospace multidisciplinary models and simulations for flight software verification using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA’s TRICK framework. The role collaborates with GN&C and subsystem engineers to build high- and low-fidelity plant models, supports verification activities, and participates in the software product lifecycle from development to deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of software development and debugging in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Experience auto-coding Simulink to C++ and with CI pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics and physics-based models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA TRICK.
• Collaborate with GN&C and subsystem engineers to build low- and high-fidelity plant models.
• Support simulations for verification of functionalities and validation of models.
• Contribute to tools to design, build, deploy, and support simulation infrastructure.
