Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II for on-site work with our customer fleets. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and related tasks at customer sites. Training and supervision are provided as you advance to more complex repairs under senior technicians.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, DOT/regulatory familiarity, and tools. ASE certifications are preferred. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience may suffice.
• DOT inspections and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• DOT/regulatory compliance knowledge essential.
• ASE certifications preferred and may be earned post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers with minimal supervision.
• Document work in TRAIT app and upload photos of RO findings.
• Diagnose and repair trailer systems including brakes, air lines, pumps, and electrical components.
• Maintain inventory and service vehicle; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT regulations.
