Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to support on-site trailer maintenance across customer sites. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs on trailers, with supervision for advanced tasks.

Work involves documenting RO via iOS and TRAIT, diagnosing electrical components, and managing tools and parts while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in trailer field.
• Experience or certifications beyond HS preferred, DOT familiarity.
• Must supply basic hand tools and be able to pass a DOT background and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers.
• Document work via RO using iOS device and TRAIT app.
• Diagnose electrical components and perform repairs in field.
• Maintain safety practices and manage parts inventory on-site.
