Job summary

Cox Fleet, a division of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs at customer sites. This role involves working in field/mobile environments with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

The technician will use TRAIT and iOS tools for documentation, and may progress under supervision to more advanced tasks. High school diploma or GED and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a related field preferred; DOT compliance experience highly valued.
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Document work and parts using the TRAIT iOS app and RO system.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and drive/operate company service vehicle as required.
• Coordinate with customers and management to schedule and complete work.
