Fleet Services by Cox Automotive seeks a Mobile Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs at customer sites. The role involves on-site work, sequencing repairs, and ensuring safety compliance in a mobile environment.

The position emphasizes independence, accuracy in documentation via the TRAIT app, and collaboration with Sr Technicians to enhance skill sets while maintaining high service levels for our fleet customers.

Qualificações

• DOT inspections and PM inspections are required.
• Experience with trailer systems and components preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance knowledge desired.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Document work and upload RO details using TRAIT app on iOS.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer systems including brakes, air lines, pumps, and engines.
• Maintain and manage parts inventory and company vehicle safety checks.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals for repairs and estimates.
