Job summary

CAI Cox Automotive Corp Svcs., LLC is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II for on-site work at customer locations. This role focuses on certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light repairs, and related tasks as assigned by a Senior Technician.

The technician will work at customer sites, perform PMs, diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, and document findings using our TRAIT app. Strong safety discipline and tool proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years’ related field experience preferred.
• DOT inspections and safe operating procedures required.
• Valid DOT medical card and driver’s license required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment at customer sites.
• Document work using the TRAIT app and upload RO photos and parts used.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues; perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations; complete DOT forms promptly.
• Manage parts and inventory for service truck; communicate estimates and approvals.
