Job summary

MSX International is seeking a Mobile Service & Performance Coach to support dealership leaders in developing successful mobile service operations and improving overall service department performance. In this field-based role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, trainer, and coach, helping dealerships drive operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Travel: Up to 80% travel within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer-facing automotive industry experience.
• Experience in service operations, fixed operations, aftersales, or retail automotive.
• Strong coaching, training, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dealership leadership to improve performance and profitability.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvements.
• Develop and support business plans focused on customer retention and fixed operations success.
• Support mobile service launches and ongoing program development.
• Recommend best practices for scheduling, routing, technician utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Help dealerships improve mobile service profitability and customer convenience.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and on-site training programs.
• Coach service leaders, advisors, and technicians on service operations, sales, and customer experience.
• Support technician recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention efforts.
• Implement operational improvements and performance standards.
• Support change management initiatives and adoption of new technologies.
• Share industry best practices and performance strategies.
