Job summary

MSX International is seeking a Connected Services Field Coach to partner with dealership leadership and field reps. You will coach, consult, and activate connected vehicle services, driving activation, OTP sales, and strong customer engagement across assigned dealerships.

You will regularly visit client sites, analyze performance metrics, and deliver actionable strategies to improve dealership processes and outcomes. A strong coaching, communication, and analytics skill set is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive, coaching or consulting.
• Strong understanding of connected services and their value proposition.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging coaching sessions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with dealership personnel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using CRM and other sales-related software.
• Must love travel – 80% travel required; local travel 2–4 days a week; admin Fridays.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-impact coaching sessions focused on connected services sales, activation, and customer support.
• Partner closely with dealership leadership to establish and optimize connected services processes within their stores.
• Train dealership personnel on Dealer Rewards Portal, OTP sales opportunities and free trial activations.
• Lead Monthly Performance Reviews with client Zone Teams, highlighting successes and opportunities.
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual dealership visits to provide ongoing support and coaching.
• Analyze dealership performance metrics to identify trends and advise actionable strategies.
• Coach dealership teams on proven sales and customer engagement techniques for connected services.
• Collaborate with client field representatives to align coaching with regional objectives.
• Monitor progress toward activation and sales goals, and develop improvement plans.
• Provide updates to program leadership on performance, challenges and growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and share best practices and lessons learned.
