Job summary

MSX International is seeking an Operations Specialist (Field Performance) to support automotive dealerships in improving service operations, customer experience, and overall performance. This field-based role involves coaching dealership staff and partnering with leadership to develop and implement improvement plans.

The role requires traveling up to 80% and offers a competitive salary with a monthly vehicle allowance and bonus opportunities, located in Mahwah, NJ.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership operations, fixed operations, or aftersales/service environments.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and develop actionable improvement plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience implementing customer service and sales best practices.
• Ability to travel regularly to dealership locations.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess dealership service operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Coach and support dealership staff on customer service, sales techniques, and operational best practices.
• Partner with dealership leadership to develop and implement improvement plans.
• Monitor progress and provide ongoing guidance to help dealerships achieve performance goals.
• Document observations, actions taken, and recommendations following dealership visits.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Promote best practices that enhance customer satisfaction, business results, and operational effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with dealership personnel and influence positive change.
