Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Reefer Trailer Technician II to perform certified DOT inspections, PMs, and light repairs at customer sites. The role focuses on on-site service with independence and professional standards.

You will handle repairs on refrigeration systems, brakes, and trailers, document activities, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely service delivery. The position supports growth and safety compliance across nationwide customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required with 3 years related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and valid DOT medical card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigerated equipment and trailers at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair components such as compressors, coils, electrical parts.
• Follow safety procedures and document work performed.
• Manage parts inventory and vehicle on-site; reconcile periodically.
