Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and appearance standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory management, and maintaining outdoor spaces.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license for on-property vehicle use, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Execute make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors and obtaining supplies.
• Track inventory and restock materials; communicate replenishment needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Complete documentation for service requests for accurate tracking.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance; perform cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
