Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure physical building standards, grounds, and amenities meet safety and cleanliness requirements across our properties. You will address work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support cost-control efforts while keeping residents satisfied.

The role includes make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and coordination with vendors. A valid EPA refrigerant certification and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property if applicable.
• Experience performing repairs and preventive maintenance on property systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policy.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units, prints punch lists, and coordinates vendors.
• Obtains materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately and on time for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
