Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Oakland, CA is seeking a Territory Manager to deliver industrial hardware via a mobile store. The role centers on cold-calling, prospecting, and building a loyal customer base across transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, and heavy equipment sectors.

You will operate a fully stocked mobile store, manage daily sales reports, and maintain customer data in the CRM.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred.
Must have a strong tenured background, no job hopping; up to 3 companies in 10 years.
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications.

Responsibilities

Prospect & Sell: Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on nearby businesses. Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm prospects.
Present Solutions: Present products and services using sample boards, product demos, and your mobile store.
Manage Operations: Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of your mobile store. Submit daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls.
Data Integrity: Maintain customer contact information—notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses—using company software.
