Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months customer service experience.
• Experience in data entry and cash handling is preferred.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and deliver solutions in moments that matter.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, meet and greet customers, and address immediate needs.
• Balance and process customer transactions accurately following Bank Policy.
• Escalate and log customer complaints in the system until resolution.
• Transition sales opportunities to the appropriate banking partner.
• Perform branch operations such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, and wire transfers.
• Process customer/account maintenance accurately.
• Complete AML/BSA/KYC related activities.
• Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls and regulatory standards.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain internal control standards and support audits and regulator follow-ups.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
