Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Manager to lead a growing team of mobile fleet technicians and guide market expansion. You will coach and mentor staff, manage daily operations, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across multiple locations.

You will partner with HR, Parts/Procurement, Fleet Management, IT, and Sales to optimize technician utilization, meet service level goals, and grow revenue in a dynamic market. Strong leadership and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6+ years in a related field; alternate combos allowed as listed in the posting.
• Minimum of three years in a people leadership role with a track record of developing teams and driving performance.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; 21+ years old due to interstate operating authority.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, performance management, and change leadership skills in growth environments.
• Ability to build engagement, accountability, and drive business outcomes in a fast-paced market.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mobile fleet technicians with hands-on leadership to develop people and improve performance.
• Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and career development conversations.
• Own market-level performance including productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth; pursue new service opportunities.
• Monitor metrics, reports, and safety records to drive continuous improvement and scalable operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with dispatch, parts, and billing to align execution with growth strategy.
• Recruit, interview, and hire technicians to build a capable team aligned with growth objectives.
